Friday afternoon I had the pleasure of visiting baby Brylee again (see newborn posting http://blog.terribeloitphotography.com/2010/01/beautiful-blessing.html) who is not quite four months old. Wow, it’s so exciting to see the changes…she’s doubled her weight and is as beautiful and precious as she was when I first met her. This day it was just Brylee and her mom…dad was working and her (four-legged) brother was outside…although he wasn’t very happy with that…he would have really liked to be a part of this session, I’m sure! It was so much fun to see what she was doing now and the smiles just light up her face…and when we got a really big smile, her dimples would show…with babies, it doesn’t get much better than that. I’ve been blessed with some little ones this week for sessions and I must say, it’s the BEST…nothing is better.
Today is Mother’s Day and it’s Brylee’s mom’s, Jessica, first mother’s day so I really wanted to get this posting ready for her on this special day…the first of many she will have. It also has another special significance as Brylee will be dedicated at their church today…what an incredible gift to her mom (and we can’t forget dad!)…to have this take place on her first mother’s day! So, Happy Mother’s Day, Jessica…enjoy the photos and there will be more to come!
Earlier this week I had the pleasure of photographing Abby who recently turned one! She is a beautiful little girl with the sweetest smile. I will say that she made me work for these photos…she wasn’t her usual happy self as she’s working on cutting several teeth and who can blame her…I sure wouldn’t be happy if I had a bunch of teeth breaking through my gums…I don’t even like a cleaning at the dentist…so she’s go my sympathy! Once she did cheer up and smile…she had me…I just melt when little ones give you a beautiful and natural smile…it’s the best! So, here are some previews of our session…and thanks to her mom, Kristin and her aunt, Kerry…we had a successful session!
I also would like to thank my brother, Scott Hege, for being such a great assistant…I couldn’t have done half the job without him! It was the first wedding he’d “worked” at and although he said it was a bit nerve wracking at times, he said it was a blast and he also enjoyed meeting everyone!
