An Afternoon Modeling Session…Part I {Puyallup Children’s Photographer}

What is better than some cute kids, a sunny and warm afternoon and some adorable outfits? Well, I must say that I can’t think of a better way to have spent my Saturday afternoon…it was fast, fun, silly, adorable and memorable! Kristin and Kerry, who have Kiwi and Kiki, hired me to photograph some little models who were sporting some of their wonderful products! These gals are very talented…you must check out their site – I am sure you will find some wonderful things that you can’t live without…or your child, grandchild or friend or neighbor’s child!

In about three hours time there were 20 little darlings that I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing…here are the first part of them…part two will be posted in a couple of days…enjoy these sweet little faces and darling outfits!

Aren’t these twins the cutest…they go by “Bubba and Sissy” and were so much fun…and wouldn’t you know the flowers were for Sissy to hold and Bubba was the one who was more interested in them…what sweethearts, it was obvious that they both look out for one another and were each making sure the other was doing okay…and I’m sure they will forever be “Bubba and Sissy” at least to one another…I just love that!

Beautiful little Hannah…with a smile that would light up the darkest of days…and those curls…who wouldn’t love to have them. She was very sweet and had a spirit about her that showed what a happy little girl she is…a true delight!

Such sweet sisters and it’s obvious that big sister, Kayla, is very proud of her new sister, Lacey, and was very tender and caring with her. Kayla is a genuine and compassionate girl who has a beautiful smile that is so natural…her whole face just lit up when she smiled. Lacey was our youngest of the day, just 8 weeks and wow, she was great, so good about the tutu and headbands…obviously a very relaxed little baby!

This is Maggie Blu and she is 10 months old and was such a good little model! Very patient, sweet smile and genuine curiousity. She’s one of those babies I could photograph all the time…she was so easy and so natural…I am sure that she’s an easy little one for her parents!

Little Rylee is four months old and I’ll tell you, she’s the CUTEST…and was great during her session. The little bloomers she is wearing are so stinkin’ cute and along with that hairbow or the hat (ADORABLE)…they fit her perfectly…I just love her eyes and sweet cheeks….what a doll!!!!

 Can you tell these three are sisters?! It’s obvious…they are all so beautiful and I don’t envy their parents when the girls are older…they will have their hands full, fighting off the boys! Zoe, the oldest was quiet, but very self assured and made sure her little sisters were okay…so caring! Audrey, the middle sister was very protective of her little sister and stuck close by her to make she I didn’t hurt her…it was so cute. She was reserved with her smiles, but there were a couple that snuck out occasionally! And, last, but certainly not least, Calah…who is a beauty (they all are!) and was great with whatever we had her do…and very observant…she was keep her eyes on all that was happening!

So, this wraps up part one of the shoot from Saturday…in a couple of days, the second half will be posted…keep your eyes peeled for some more adorable little ones….and great outfits!!

Summer…finally!

Here in the Pacific Northwest, summer has finally arrived! While I know that many parts of the country have been dealing with some extreme (heat) weather…here we have had a very cool and wet spring/early summer and although the old saying is “summer arrives on July 5th” around here…it’s been a tough one to believe this year. Thankfully, it was just July 6th…when the sun and warmer temperatures arrived and although we have quickly shot from cool to hot…there aren’t any complaints (at least at this point!)…and everyone is enjoying summer…finally!

My granddaughter and a couple of neighbors enjoyed the sun and sprinkler today…and it was a perfect way to spend one of our first (and hopefully, not few!) days of summer!
