Harper…PRECIOUS | {Puyallup Newborn Photography}

It’s about time that I’m getting this blog posted…and it’s been killing me that I haven’t had the time lately to get it ready and posted because it’s a very special one for me…it’s of our newest little granddaughter, Harper, who arrived at the end of July! This makes three precious and beautiful granddaughters for my husband and I and we couldn’t be happier!! Little Harper was almost a week late and her parents were quite anxious for her arrival…as was the rest of the family. When it came time for her to arrive, did she ever come in with a BANG!! Labor was extremely fast and she arrived about 40 minutes after they made it to the hospital and she nearly was born in the ER (which the ER nurses were really hoping for!!)…but thankfully, the midwife made the decision to take our daughter, Jess, up to the maternity floor and they made it…barely! We welcomed this healthy and beautiful little girl at 12:01 am – which means she shares the same date (not month) with her big sister, Emma, who was also born on the 29th (of her March). That will make it easy to remember!! Harper came home about 21 hours after she was born and was welcomed by Emma and her (four-legged) brothers!! This wonderful family is settling in and mom and dad, aka…Jess and Sean…are adjusting to life with a baby and toddler…and doing quite well, though learning that it’s a bit more work keeping up with two girls! I can’t wait to see what life will be like for them in a year or two…they will be busy, but I know they love these girls more than they ever imagined they could and are very thankful for their daughters! A little warning on this blog…it’s long, as I couldn’t narrow it down anymore…so settle in and relax while you enjoy some photos of sweet little Harper Rae!

Sweet Baby Harper | {Puyallup Newborn Photographer}

Oh, another little baby girl…another sweet, precious and adorable girl! Harper was just 12 days old when I had the pleasure of meeting her and what a treat it was! Big sister, Ainsley, as well as mom came along for Harper’s session and it was such fun to see how Ainsley adores and loves Harper! It’s obvious there is a lifelong bond, and a forever love that these two will have for one another…that is a beautiful thing to see! Little Harper wasn’t so sure about sleeping when we started out, but as you will see, she finally decided it was far too much work to stay awake, so ended up sleeping the second half of the session. Of course, I couldn’t resist grabbing a few photos of big sis by herself while mom was feeding Harper…I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Ainsley since she was six months old and she’s a kind and fun little girl, not to mention pretty darn cute!! I know that this fall, it will be hard for mom to watch Ainsley head off to kindergarten, but I’m guessing she will be busy with Harper and that will help with the emotions of watching your oldest start school. This little beauty, her sister and mom were great and I always look forward to seeing them (and dad when he can make it!) for their sessions….what a great family who has been blessed by “two feet” that have joined their family!

Baby Lincoln | {Puyallup Newborn Photography}

There’s nothing more exciting than a new little addition to a family…and this little one, Lincoln, was welcomed by his parents, Phillip and Shawna, and is truly a blessing to them as well as their families! He arrived about a week early and is just perfect…10 little fingers and 10 little toes…the cutest nose and the sweetest, soft little cry. The day I met Lincoln and his parents, he was just 12 days old and was sound asleep upon arrival. I so love the little ones…I get to cuddle, snuggle and smell these sweet, precious babies and each and every one is a delight and I so love watching “mom and dad” with their new baby…it’s always an amazing sight…one that I will never tire of seeing! Such a precious gift and such love beaming from the parents…and these new parents are truly in love with their new son!

Oh, how I LOVE a mother with her new baby…melts my heart and brings tears to my eyes every time!Safe and protected, in his daddy’s arms…little Lincoln is content and peaceful!A beautiful new family is created!

From the tippy top to the tippy “toes!”

Hmmm, if only we knew what he was thinking!!

Is this not the SWEETEST little face, ever!!

Oh, how I live the “little bits” of babies!

Peaceful and innocent…

You can just feel the love these parents have for their new son!Lincoln brought along his “big” cousin, Wyatt, and we couldn’t resist a couple of photos of the two of them. Aren’t they adorable in these owl hats?!!!

And, these super cute ties and diaper covers were made by Wyatt’s mom…what talent and perfect for Valentine’s!

It was great to see Wyatt, I hadn’t seen him since his newborn photos and he will be next up on the blog as he came in later that same week!

Sleep tight, sweet Lincoln!

Phillip and Shawna…your new son is beautiful and I was thrilled to meet all of you and capture some memories for your family…I look forward to seeing him grown during his first year and capturing some more memories for all of you! Congratulations!!!
