A "mini" with Evan

I can’t believe it’s been nearly two weeks since a mini session with Evan…who just happens to be Jack’s big brother. It’s been crazy the past couple of weeks, wrapping up sessions, editing and getting orders ready for clients…it’s crunch time, but I’m about finished…at least I have to be by Friday as I head out of town for a couple of weeks, so what’s not ordered won’t get done for Christmas.

Evan is three and a half…and has the most beautiful blue eyes and blond hair…boy, he’s going to have the girls calling him all the time as he gets older…his parents will be busy! I must admit that my granddaughter, Jayden, is a bit smitten with him (and he with her!)…and who can blame her! During his session, the two of them had a few photos taken together, and had their own idea of how they were to pose!! I love kids…you just never know what THEY have planned for the session…a true delight!

Fall Frolic

It’s nearly the end of November and Thanksgiving has passed. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and was able to enjoy some special time with family and friends…after all, that’s what it’s about…being thankful for our blessings which includes those we love! My husband and I enjoyed a great day with our kids and granddaughter…spending time together is what is important to us! The week has flown by and I’m back to working on client photos and hope to get the remaining sessions I shot in the past week online in the next few days. Please bear with me as I work to get them finished.

Last Sunday afternoon it was dry and mostly clear…amazing since we’d had so much rain the past week or two…a real treat! I had a session with friend/neighbors who are very dear to us! It’s an honor they choose me to photograph their family! Luke is now three (I remember the day he was born!) and Amelia turned one in August…and what a great family they are! Dad and Mom are busy with the kids, but have some adorable little ones, who are BUSY…but that’s what these ages are all about! It was funny because the kids weren’t real happy to start off, but once they were able to roam around and wander, their faces lit up and the smiles came out! Although a bit cold that day, it didn’t seem to bother them…they seemed to enjoy the fresh air and the chance to walk, run and play on the beautiful dry day! Sweet little Amelia sure loves her big brother and does her best to try and keep up with him…it was fun to watch the two of them! Here are some of the photos I captured that day…and soon, there will be more for you to see, Greg and Leah…enjoy these for now!

Family time…

Not only is it time for a family session, but this is part of my family in this session. My son, Josh, his wife, Miranda, and their daughter, Jayden. They were part of my dual sessions on Saturday and again, the weather worked out for us…though a tad cold…we all survived! You’ve all seen Jayden…probably the most photographed four year old around…and of course, my favorite subject…and as today, occasionally, her parents get in on the photos. Always fun, they are eager to do about anything and love having frequent updated family photos! So, here are a few from that afternoon (okay, so I’m a bit biased and have more than a few!)…enjoy…I sure did!
