Mr. & Mrs. Kalebaugh | Oregon Wedding Photographer

Just four short weeks ago, this beautiful, young couple was joined by family and dear friends as they shared a special day of committing to each other…for a lifetime! Sydney and Tobin became husband and wife and I don’t think I’ve seen a couple that has wanted that more, that were more committed and excited to join together as one! Of course, I must admit, I’m a tad biased as Sydney is my niece, my brother’s youngest and I was so excited to be able to share in this very special day with all of them! They were married on a hot day in The Dalles, OR, but it certainly could have been hotter and there wasn’t much wind (which can be a problem there), and there weren’t any fires (they came two weeks later)…so it was obviously a very blessed day for them to have such great conditions and to have so many people be able to share in their amazing day! Sydney is a bit social, well okay, a LOT and makes friends with just about everyone she meets…hence, 12 bridesmaids! 😉 Although the largest wedding party I’ve ever photographed, it was probably the most fun group, they were laughing and giggling most of the time and the whole group was willing to do just about anything…I had such a great time with this wedding party and love going through all of the photos – it really was a blast! Sydney and Tobin are now settling into married life in Moscow as Sydney returns to finish her last year of college and Tobin applies to Vet school…and I know that life ahead of them has great things in store…there will be bumps and turns they might not expect and challenges, but that is what commitment is all about, learning how to navigate these things together, working to grow your relationship and make it ever stronger! I’m so excited to see where they will be in just 5 short years…and can only imagine the stories they will have to share from their adventures together! (WARNING: there are a LOT of photos here…I just had too many I wanted to share. so you are warned to settle down and get comfortable while you go through these!!)

Mr. & Mrs. Chosich | {Tacoma Wedding Photographer}

A beautiful spring evening and a beautiful bride…it doesn’t get much better than this! What a blessing it was to be able to be a part of such a special couple’s big day! Chrystal and David were married last month on a lovely evening in Tacoma near the waterfront with sunshine and mild temperatures (and dry!!) to make their evening even that much more perfect! As you will see, Chrystal is gorgeous and made a stunning bride, who was glowing the entire evening as she was surrounded by family and close friends…it was obvious that both she and David are loved by so many! The bridesmaids were beautiful and three of them were in fact glowing themselves, as they are expecting…all due close to one another! I asked Chrystal if it was the water and if so, would she drink it…she smiled and nodded!! Ahh, I’m sure her dear friends will be excited for that day, when they welcome her to motherhood!!  Family is very important to Chrystal and David and many were there to share in this special day and give them their best for a life full of love and happiness…and you could see the joy that everyone shared as they watched Chrystal and David’s ceremony!

Elizabeth & Aaron | {Crystal Mountain Wedding}

It’s been a while since the planning for this very special day began, and I can tell you that both the bride and groom and their daughter were happier than they could have imagined as this day finally arrived…AT LAST!! Elizabeth and Aaron knew what they wanted and there was no doubt it would happen and they are so committed to one another, it was a lovely story to “watch” as the day unfolded…what a beautiful family, so very blessed! Aryianna, their sweet and adorable daughter, was just as excited about the day! She and her friends were busy getting some “flowers” ready for herself and her best friend, who were the flower girls, when I arrived in their room. This special event took place at Crystal Mountain, at the top of the gondola, on a late summer day, which we had all been hopeful there would be sunshine and blue skies for the wedding…and unfortunately, that was not the case…there was plenty of fog and clouds, but that didn’t dampen the spirits or change anything about this day, because at the end of the day, they were to become “Mr. and Mrs. Pollard!”  The bride…rather nervous, excited and a bit teary at times…was STUNNING…her dress just added to her beauty and when Aaron saw his soon to be wife, come down the stairs from the gondola, I’m sure he found it hard to catch his breath…as his smile just grew and anticipation of the day was all gone since it was now time!! The wedding was witnessed by family and friends, who love and support this couple and it was a delight to watch the love they all showed for this couple and family after the nuptials…it’s obvious they have many wonderful friends and some great family who were as happy as they were!! So, without further ado…here is a little bit of what I had the pleasure of capturing on their special day…

Beautiful women…sharing a very special day together!

Fighting the tears…not wanting to cry, Elizabeth became quite emotional, the closer we got to the top…the reality that this day was HERE and she’d soon be Mrs. Pollard!

The girls were excited for the wedding…as the guests waited to see this couple join together!!As I waited for Elizabeth to come down the stairs, I looked up and saw these signs, all pointing to where she would meet Aaron to be married…Elizabeth’s best friend…and maid of honor, walked her down the aisle, very touching as they are quite close!I loved Aryianna’s smile, as she watched her parents exchange their wedding vows…heartwarming!A little laughter, a few tears…all part of a beautiful and touching ceremony that joined this couple as husband and wife!The smile says it all!!!There were a lot of kids at this wedding…most of them family (and so cute!!)…so Aaron and Elizabeth figured this would be a great way to entertain them during the reception…and believe me, they had a BLAST!!!

Special couple, with very special friends!Elizabeth was so happy to share this day with her mom and stepdad…who were as happy as she was on this day!No cakes…or traditional cakes at this wedding, but the cheese”cake” was delicious….just ask Aaron, he get a real good taste of it!!What a sneaky wife…Elizabeth has this planned, but Aaron wasn’t prepared…and although that’s not quite how he planned to taste the cheesecake, he was a great sport and enjoyed the “bites” he got!!

Such a special family and such love they all share…they are so very blessed!

The moms have been friends since childhood and despite living across the state from one another, they are very close and their daughters are also wonderful friends…

Watching this couple during their first dance as “Mr. & Mrs.” was very touching…the emotions they were both feeling could almost be felt by those watching, such a touching dance filled with love, trust, and incredible happiness…And, then the family dance…and then add all the children…what fun that was!!!Congratulations Aaron and Elizabeth – it was an honor to share in your special day and I am excited for you to see the rest of the photos. As you walk to your future, I know it will be filled with many more special memories that you can add to this day and I know that you have a lifetime of happiness ahead of you!
