I must say that what first comes to my mind when I see this cute little one…Shirley Temple! And I’m guessing most of you think that as well…the curls are so pretty…and those combined with this beautiful little girl…makes her just perfect! Hailey is three and is a typical three year old…curious, busy, full of energy and independent! It was a delight to photograph her and to have her mom (dad is in the military and not home right now), grandparents and her aunt and uncle join her…what a great looking group they all are! The morning wwe met was cloudy and a tad cooler than it had been, but it worked out great and we enjoyed strolling around the pond. Hailey proved to be quite the explorer, collecting sticks, flowers, grass, rocks and more…I love watching little ones explore their environment! It’s obvious she loves her mom and was happy to have those she loved with her that day…and don’t let that beautiful face fool you…she is strong willed and determined to do things her way…which is a good thing, but I’m guessing she keeps everyone on their toes! It was a delight to photograph her and spend the morning with her family…thank you for asking me to capture a bit of life for your family that day!!

As I said, she collected many things along our walk…here are just two of her many sticks…and I think they even managed to leave without taking much of it home with them!!

This couple is GREAT together…and their wedding was wonderful and to be a part of such a great day was our (my husband and myself) pleasure. We started out early and went late into the evening…and I must say that we were exhuasted by the end of the night, but also excited at what we were able to capture for Megan and Derek on their special day!! And, the weather really couldn’t have been better…it wasn’t too warm or too cool…and ideal for the outdoor wedding and reception…this had to be a sign of a great future for them…everything falling into place! The wedding took place at Snoqualmie Point Park (GREAT location…check it out sometime, beautiful view!!) and the reception was help at in the groom’s back yard which backs up to Shady Lake in Renton…and that was a fabulous location!! Couldn’t have been a better day!

All the little details for the bride…such fun to make sure it’s all taken care of…and all SO worth it when you see how beautiful she is!!!
Sunday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing sweet little Brylee again! This was my third session with this little cutie and what a delight to see how she’s grown and changed since the last session. She’s still a petite little girl, but I fell in love with her smile and expressions during the session and she has definitely learned how to “flirt” with those around her…wow, she’s a beauty and as she gets older, her parents (dad, especially!!) will be watching those boys who come calling! Brylee was SOO good through the whole session and the only time she wasn’t happy was when we tried to put a tutu on her…she did NOT like the tulle on her soft skin…so we quickly decided she’d have to be older before trying that again! And, it was a treat to have a chance to get some family photos during this session as well…her parents are such a nice couple and they all are a very sweet family! When I shot the last session, her dad was at work, so it was great to have him join in the fun…and we had to include their dog, Beasley, in family photos…he sure didn’t like being left out of the photos!!
