Brylee turns TWO | {Bremerton Family Photographer}

What a TREAT it was to see sweet little Brylee again…although I must say, she’s sure grown since I saw her a year ago! This darling turned two last month and I’ve had the pleasure of photographer her since she was born! Watching little ones grow into toddlers (and beyond) is the most amazing thing and to think that it’s part of my job…how lucky am I! Besides watching this beautiful little one grow up, I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her parents…they are the such delightful people and incredible parents…and I’ve loved creating the relationship we have over the past two years! Talk about a blessing…on the day we were going to do Brylee’s photos, the forecast was for SUN…yes, I said SUN…and if you are at all familiar with the Pacific Northwest in January, February (March and April for that matter)…sunshine is a rare thing, especially when it comes with some mild temperatures and this day we had both…it was 60 degrees! Holy smokes, that doesn’t happen often, and we were all so happy…and welcomed the opportunity to get Brylee outside for some photos…it was so much fun! Bubbles and her new bike were the highlight of our time outside, oh, as well as a bit of “yard work” that she was working on, pulling a bit of grass and some of the dormant plants that were in the beds…Brylee enjoyed the outdoors as much as the rest of us! I’ll tell you, this beauty grabbed my heart as well as my husband’s when we were there, she was so sweet and wanted to make sure we were included in everything she did and we got the biggest hugs when we left…oh, that’s the best bonus ever from a session!!

Brylee showed us how she likes to dance with her Dora doll…this girl has got great moves!!undefined

There isn’t much sweeter than a little girl and her daddy…love this photo of them…and you can see where she gets her beauty…from her mom!!undefined

The smiles just kept coming…she was amazing and such a great little “model” for her session…she just kept shining through the entire time! undefined

Her new bike, she’d just gotten and wow, she knew just what to do on this, she took right off pedaling….what a pro!undefined

Brylee was also great with the bubbles and even shared once in a while with her parents! And, like any girl, she wanted to check out the photos…so she got a sneak peek from the back of the camera!!undefined

Such a happy little girl, smiling and chattering away through the whole session!

undefinedundefinedWhat a delightful family…and the exciting part is that in July, they will be adding to their family! I’m so excited for them and CAN’T wait to meet the newest family member…I know that Brylee with be a great big sister!!

She was quite the hostess…and offered both my husband and myself tea as well as little cakes and even gave us refills…SO much fun!!undefined

This beautiful and precious smile says it all…she is a very happy and fun two year-old who made my job SO much fun on this beautiful winter afternoon! Thank you, Brylee, Rick and Jessica…you are all awesome!

Brylee at 6 months {Bremerton Baby Photographer}

Sunday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing sweet little Brylee again! This was my third session with this little cutie and what a delight to see how she’s grown and changed since the last session. She’s still a petite little girl, but I fell in love with her smile and expressions during the session and she has definitely learned how to “flirt” with those around her…wow, she’s a beauty and as she gets older, her parents (dad, especially!!) will be watching those boys who come calling! Brylee was SOO good through the whole session and the only time she wasn’t happy was when we tried to put a tutu on her…she did NOT like the tulle on her soft skin…so we quickly decided she’d have to be older before trying that again! And, it was a treat to have a chance to get some family photos during this session as well…her parents are such a nice couple and they all are a very sweet family! When I shot the last session, her dad was at work, so it was great to have him join in the fun…and we had to include their dog, Beasley, in family photos…he sure didn’t like being left out of the photos!! Here’s a peek at what I captured that beautiful summer afternoon!

Beautiful Brylee…

Friday afternoon I had the pleasure of visiting baby Brylee again (see newborn posting http://blog.terribeloitphotography.com/2010/01/beautiful-blessing.html) who is not quite four months old. Wow, it’s so exciting to see the changes…she’s doubled her weight and is as beautiful and precious as she was when I first met her. This day it was just Brylee and her mom…dad was working and her (four-legged) brother was outside…although he wasn’t very happy with that…he would have really liked to be a part of this session, I’m sure! It was so much fun to see what she was doing now and the smiles just light up her face…and when we got a really big smile, her dimples would show…with babies, it doesn’t get much better than that. I’ve been blessed with some little ones this week for sessions and I must say, it’s the BEST…nothing is better.

Today is Mother’s Day and it’s Brylee’s mom’s, Jessica, first mother’s day so I really wanted to get this posting ready for her on this special day…the first of many she will have. It also has another special significance as Brylee will be dedicated at their church today…what an incredible gift to her mom (and we can’t forget dad!)…to have this take place on her first mother’s day! So, Happy Mother’s Day, Jessica…enjoy the photos and there will be more to come!

As you can see, modeling for a little one is tough work…we wore poor little Bylee out and she fell soundly asleep in her mother’s arms…this is one of those priceless moments!
I can’t wait to return in a few months to see how Brylee has grown even more…and between now and then, I’m sure her parents will enjoy each and every little moment with her!
