Tinker Bell & Abby…CELEBRATE | {Orting Event Photography}

My oh my…sharing an afternoon with Tinker Bell and a lovely little three year old…it certainly doesn’t get much better than that! Sweet Abby turned three last month and low and behold, but who should appear at her birthday, but her favorite Disney character…Tinker Bell! The guests, fairies, princesses, pirates and even a few “humans”  were excited and loved sharing their time with this beautiful fairy who is close friends with Peter Pan (as well as Cinderella!!).  Lots of wonderful snacks and treats, delicious cupcakes, Pixie dust, face painting, balloon creations, SUPER fun gifts and LOTS of smiles filled the afternoon and I do believe that this celebration was one that will be remembered by many…even those who are young at heart…Tinker Bell was a delight and so wonderful with the little guests…and very excited to share in seeing all of the fun (many Tinker Bell) gifts that Abby received!  One very precious story I just have to share with you all…one of the guests, and a cousin of the guest of honor, asked Tinker Bell how come she was so big…she said she thought she was much smaller. Tinker Bell told her that she had special powers to be “big” for special occasions and that as soon as the party was over, she would return to her usual size…oh, out of the mouths of babes….LOVE IT!!!   Now, it’s time for you to take a few minutes, step back in time and remember those wonderful childhood memories as you browse through the photos from this magical birthday celebration!!

Tinker Bell gave Abby a very special little wand that she had to wave over Tinker Bell so that she would soon return to her normal (small) size and be able to fly back to Never Never Land…poor Abby didn’t want her to leave and was reluctant to wave the want…so big sister, Lily, helped out a bit!The kids were very sad to see Tinker Bell leave…they watched her for as far as they could see her…until she disappeared and became too small for them to see…truly a priceless moment!!So very sad that her special new friend had to leave!!

Sweet Abby…many wishes for years and years of magical memories and a lifetime of believing that anything is possible!!

Princess Lily turns SIX | {Cinderella’s Party}

Little did I know last weekend when I arrived at Lily’s birthday party, just how magical the whole event would be! I knew it was special…it was Lily’s sixth birthday and the theme was princesses, but wow, what a GREAT party and the memories that were created for Lily and the other princesses that attended…amazing! Besides Lily, there was another “guest of honor” who arrived shortly after all the girls had gathered…it was Cinderella, herself! And, you should have seen the faces of the girls’ – it was truly priceless and heartwarming! And, let me tell you just how talented Cinderella is…she did an amazing job of face painting for the girls and her creations with balloons was magical! Of course, there was the usual, snacks, opening of gifts, birthday cake with candles and Cinderella led everyone in a great round of “Happy Birthday” for Lily! The girls were so sweet, beautiful and awe struck by Cinderella and I must admit I was as well!  What a treat it was to be able to capture some very special memories for Lily and her family on this exciting day in Lily’s life!

They all got a lesson in spinning and dancing from Cinderella and as you can see, they were quite eager to learn all they could!!

Such a special photo…and look at Lily’s costume, it’s practically identical to Cinderella’s dress!!

Abby, who is Lily’s little sister was rather “star struck” by this very special princess!

The girls could choose their design and were very patient in waiting their turn…and it was a delight to see the art each girl chose…such talent Cinderella has!!
This beautiful princess chose a magical wand for her balloon art…quite impressive!!

Oh, and a fountain of pink chocolate…what a great idea…along with marshmallows and graham crackers…a perfect treat for princesses!!

A couple little ones…Prince Charming (aka, Max, who is Lily’s cousin) and this adorable little ROCK princess who was a little sister of one of the guests…seemed to enjoy the party as much as the older ones!

We just couldn’t let Cinderella leave without giving her a chance to have “Prince Max” have his photo taken with her!

Sadly, it’s time for Cinderella to say goodbye…she said her Fairy Godmother was expecting her back home and Prince Charming would be missing her…I know the girls sure were sorry she had to leave…

Beautiful Lily…she is a stunning princess!!

Six is the magical number for Lily, I’m certain this will be a day she will remember for a lifetime!

Lily with her little sister, Abby, and cousins, Maddy and Max…a ROYALLY great group!!

Lily….I wish you a lifetime of magical moments and hope that all of your dreams come true!!!

Kiwi & Kiki – Valentine’s | {cute, cute, cute}

What can I say, these photos speak for themselves! You’ve seen these little girls before, three of them below to the owners of “Kiwi and Kiki” and they are modeling some of their great new items they have for sale! Of course, the pettiskirts…they are the star of this shoot…so darn cute and I can’t imagine any little (or big!) girl that wouldn’t want one of these! The three red ones were for Christmas for their girls and the purple one…well, I am happy to say that it’s mine…and I have it here for any little ones that would like to wear it during a shoot! How cute would a newborn or a 6 month old, just sitting up, be surrounded by the beautiful ruffles of lavendar! My granddaughter was the model this day for the skirt and I have a feeling she will be asking to wear it again when she’s over…and who can blame her, how fun is it!

There are also some adorable and fun headbands, bows and flowers for your little darlings for Valentine’s and spring…you’ve got to see their things…great stuff! There are some fun other things, like an adorable pillow that would be perfect for Valentine’s…for anyone, from little to big and check out the t-shirt with the heart on the front…super sweet!  Can’t forget the newest headbands for the dolls…matching at that…perfect for the girls…and the cupcakes…they look so real, you’ll want to take a bite…as you can see, the girls nearly did!! Okay, so I must admit, I really love what these gals make and sell, but besides that, in the past year (plus!) that I’ve been working with them, I’ve gotten to know them and their children (husbands, too…they are great “wranglers when needed!)…and am proud to call them my friends…they are both so nice, sincere, hardworking, great moms and just kind and generous people…who doesn’t want friends like this! I’m truly blessed to have “met” them and thankful for our friendship. Okay…on to the photos…the cute products and adorable girls!!!!
LOVE, this photo…her expression is so beautiful…and those eyes…wow!
As I said, my granddaughter (in the purple) was one of the models and she and the other girl in this photo became fast friends…they were having a great time, laughing, being silly and just enjoying being girls…love how kids can make friends so easily!!!
Our youngest little model and wouldn’t you know, she lasted longer than the other three, who headed off to play…this sweetie was great and we had a ton of fun with her…she’s so cute!!!!
