It was a delight to see Miss Ainsley again…and how she’s grown and turned into a sweet toddler. I first met her when she was 6 months old…and now, she’s a lively and fun two year old. She started out a tad shy and wanted her mom close by, but in no time at all, she warmed up and we started playing and having a good time. It didn’t hurt that I had a very special assistant with me that day…my 5 year old granddaughter, Jayden, who I think quickly became one of Ainsley’s good friends! It’s amazing what a 5 year old can do and how quickly a younger child will follow along…I think I need to tap into that source and learn the secrets! We had planned this session earlier, but had to reschedule and had hoped this day to get outside a bit, but the weather wasn’t cooperating…so we’ll get together for a mini session “someday” when the weather decides to be a bit more predictable and shoot some outside. Despite being in the studio, Ainsley was a pure delight and her smile and giggles just lit up the room…what a wonderful little girl that was a real joy to spend some time with! At the end of the session, Ainsley and Jayden disappeared while I talked with her parents…and they were found downstairs playing with the Barbies and blocks…and neither seemed to care if we came around or not…ahhh, the pure simplicity of children…it is the most magical thing there is!
As you can see, we had a lot of fun…and Ainsley is full of LOTS of great expressions…what a sweetheart!!!
LOVE, LOVE this smile!!!
Okay, I want to know where I can find boots like this…they are SO cute!!
Near the end of the session…I think Ainsley was getting tired…and wanted us to be quiet so she could rest!!
Little toes…one of my favorites!!!
What a beauty….
As we headed outside at the end, I couldn’t resist grabbing a shot or two…of course, this was after the rain and torrential hail storm that took place during the session…spring, really??
Dave and Meghan…thank you for asking me to capture some special memories of your beautiful daughter…it was truly my pleasure and I must say, you have a very sweet little girl….I look forward to watching her grow and change over the years to come!
