Okay…it’s time for part II from the shoot last Saturday…I wanted to give the darlings in the first half, their time as top billing on the blog, and now it’s time for the second half to have their time to show just how cute they were. As I said before, it was a delight to meet and photograph each of these children…I absolutely LOVE kids…their genuine expressions are the BEST…whether they are happy, sad, unsure, excited or tired…it is them…and that’s what photographing children is about…photographing who they are at that time…and it’s not always big, happy smiles, but sometimes they are more serious or inquisitive, but it’s who and what they are at that time…and I love that….absolutely LOVE kids and photographing them…so, without any further delay…here are the rest of the gang!
Ryan and Logan…brothers, as you can tell and they are so cute…love the blond curls and Ryan was awesome…he seemed to enjoy the attention and his smile definitely lit up his face! I must share that I didn’t know these guys (or any of the kids) were going to be part of this shoot…and a couple years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Ryan with his parents and some cousins…so it was a real treat to photograph him again…and meet Logan…what a doll and such a sweet little guy!! Heartbreaker, for sure!!
Dylan is the best big brother…he was SO good with Tanner and so caring and careful…I loved seeing these two brothers together. And, Dylan, wow, what a nice boy, a little quiet, very polite and I adore those freckles!! Tanner, just 6 months was great, he gave me lots of smiles and wasn’t the least bit afraid of this new situation…I thoroughly enjoyed these boys!!
Check out this family…three boys and one (BEAUTIFUL) girl…and these boys, were all boy! They were great and I absolutely loved what they were wearing…the mom had found the cowboy boots and hats for the younger two and it fit perfectly with their outfits! Joshua, the youngest was very quiet and most of the time, his fingers were in his mouth, but occasionally a smile would sneak out and a couple of times, the hand was even away from the mouth…he’s a character!!! Caleb, the next brother was very sweet and great to do whatever I asked of him…such a nice smile and I loved the shirt he was wearing! Daryl, the oldest of the boys, is a great big brother and whenever Joshua wouldn’t answer a question, he made sure that he filled me in on the answer I was looking for…and was very cooperative! Look at his eyes, wow, they are amazing! And, then, there’s Grace…the only girl of the bunch and SOOO sweet…not to mention beautiful! She was quiet and reserved…but then again, with three brothers, I think she has the right idea…and when I had a few minutes with just her, ahh, what a sweetheart, she’s a doll…I really enjoyed this family…so much fun!
Osian…first of all, I love his name, it’s unique and I think it fits him perfectly! He was a perfect little model, did whatever I asked and his smile melted my heart…such a cutie! He was limiting the photos to start out and then all of a sudden, he decided he liked having the photos taken (and attention) and told him mom only I could take pictures of him (he said “her” and pointed to me…too cute!)…he’s going to definitely have the girls sending him notes as he gets older!
Last, but definitely not least, was Jasmine! Talk about BEAUTIFUL… this sweet little girl has the prettiest features and although she wasn’t really willing to share a smile with me that evening, I could see it was in there and just her pretty features and beautiful coloring was enough to excited me! And, the outfit she was wearing was absolutely perfect on her…I don’t think the colors could have been better…and the headbands and flowers…they were the icing on the cake for this darling! As you can see, the very last photo I took of her shows just how she was feeling…and I don’t blame her a bit, she was my last little model and it was time to head home for her…and I felt the same way…time to head home!
THANK YOU ALL…models and parents…and of course, Kerry and Kristin…it was a pleasure to be a part of this shoot…the beautiful kids, products and time that everyone took for this definitely made it a true success! I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot and look forward to more in the future with everyone!
Sunday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing sweet little Brylee again! This was my third session with this little cutie and what a delight to see how she’s grown and changed since the last session. She’s still a petite little girl, but I fell in love with her smile and expressions during the session and she has definitely learned how to “flirt” with those around her…wow, she’s a beauty and as she gets older, her parents (dad, especially!!) will be watching those boys who come calling! Brylee was SOO good through the whole session and the only time she wasn’t happy was when we tried to put a tutu on her…she did NOT like the tulle on her soft skin…so we quickly decided she’d have to be older before trying that again! And, it was a treat to have a chance to get some family photos during this session as well…her parents are such a nice couple and they all are a very sweet family! When I shot the last session, her dad was at work, so it was great to have him join in the fun…and we had to include their dog, Beasley, in family photos…he sure didn’t like being left out of the photos!!
