Borgerding Family | {Puyallup Family Photography}

With the holidays quickly approaching, it seems that my days (and nights of editing) get busier as each day goes by…so, I made a decision that the blog posts for clients would be put on “hold” until after the holidays, or I’m caught up and have a bit of extra time! With that being said, I am posting a few photos…a mini blog…for this family as today is Mom’s birthday and I wanted to give her a little extra peek at some of the photos from their session just a week ago! Meet the Borgerding family…mom and dad, aka, Greg and Leah, and their beautiful and kiddos, Luke and Amelia!! My family has had the pleasure of knowing them for over 8 years…when they moved in next door to us, but of course, the kiddos weren’t in the picture at that time!! Watching their family grow and sharing in the lives of the kids as they celebrated birthdays – a delight and joy to see this family grow from two to four over the years!

As I said, today is mom’s birthday, and I wanted to give Leah a special gift, of some more photos of her beautiful family that I’ve had the pleasure of watching over the years and capturing some special moments in their lives!! Happy Birthday, Leah…wishing you a wonderful day and MANY more birthdays ahead!!

Love you guys…so thankful to have you as neighbors…and friends!

All in the FAMILY | {Tacoma Family Photographer}

Families…full of love, joy, sharing and lots of laughter! Well, let me introduce you to this family…of families! The two littlest one are cousins…Wyatt just turned ONE this month and his younger cousin, Lincoln, is 6 months old! Oh, the joys of cousins, being close in age and able to grow up together! It’s one of those amazing things about childhood that carries over to later in life and besides being related, they often end up being close friends! Now, this family is a little more unique than most where they have little ones around the same time. Mom’s of these little guys, Dianna and Shawna, are sisters and twins…and to have children – boys so close together, what a special bond they share as well as their sons! To add to this unique family, the dads, Rob and Phillip, are also related…they are brothers!! I don’t know how much closer you can connect families…such a joy for both families – sharing so much – and so many joyous occasions for both families! I met Wyatt and his parents a year ago shortly after he was born and then when he was six months old, I had the delight of meeting his new cousin, Lincoln, and the pleasure of capturing his newborn photos. Both of these little guys are part of my “Babe’s First Year” and it’s been so much fun to see them so often with the connection!! On this day, not only did we photograph both families together, we also captured Wyatt’s one year photos and Lincoln’s six month photos…watch for those blogs coming up later this week!!

I LOVE this photo…what a wonderful time for sisters/moms/aunts to share the joy of their little ones!!

These cuties were so much fun and I’m excited to share photos with you from each of their sessions…they both stole my heart and I loved watching them together!!

Sweet Emma is “1” | {Puyallup Children’s Photography}

It hardly seems possible that our sweet little granddaughter was due just about a year ago…although she arrived early and decided that instead of May for her birthday month, it would be March…the same month as her daddy’s birthday! The year has been filled with joy, wonderful memories, sweet snuggles, milestones and naturally MANY photos! For Emma’s first birthday photos, they were taken over a nearly two month span, with a few here and a few there…with the final ones a couple of weeks ago with her mom and dad on a lovely Sunday afternoon! The cake smash was posted earlier…with lots of very “sweet and messy” photos!! Of course, I LOVE photographing babies, children, families and more…but having the opportunity to witness and capture memories for MY family has got to be the VERY best thing in the world…it makes my heart just about burst with happiness! Naturally, you’ve seen Emma on her before and you will see her more throughout the year and I’m always filled with pride when sharing just how beautiful my family (especially our granddaughters!!) is!!

Getting both the girls together for some photos…oh, the joy more than doubles!!Modeling is hard work, you need a snack break every once in a while!!The day I became a grandmother (aka…Mimi) my life changed more than I could have ever imagined and the love for these two just continues to multiply more than I can say!Family time…and so happy to get them together for some photos…happy for sunshine!PEEK-A-BOOOh, how she loves riding on her daddy’s shoulder…and he’s even teaching her to give him a head massage…start ’em young!! LOLA special gift she got last year…this wagon was her daddy’s and friends refinished it and “updated” it for Emma!SO very loved by her parents…every time I see this, my heart is filled with pride!Hmmm…are we finished yet?!?All because two people fell in love…
